It’s going to break down. I owned a 1992 R100R which has the same engine. The alternator stator went, then the universal joint at the wheel end of the driveshaft blew up while doing 70 on the interstate. The starters are weak and fail often. The diode boards also have a bad track record. Valves need adjusting every 3000 miles. Oil filters are proprietary and expensive.
