The guy was sort of fishing<br>around for my age but couldn't ask directly. I had gone back to UConn to<br>get my degree in '92 so it implied that I was much younger than I really<br>was.<br><br>I finally leaned over and said, "You're trying to guess my age. Let me just<br>say that I'm closer to 50 than I am to 20 and let it go at that!" He smiled<br>and assured me that it wasn't a problem.<br><br>Of course, I was 68 at the time so my observation was technically true.
