[BaseCamp] map zoom-in height indication (altitude)

Previously, on my tool bar, I had a readout window that told me how many
feet off the surface I was for a particular view when zooming in or out --
an "altimeter" window.  With my recent updating to version 4.4.6 that
window has gone away.  The only place I can see an "altitude" readout is
when I use the zoom in/out slider bar in the upper left corner of the map.
And I typically zoom with my mouse so there is no display when I zoom.
Does any one have the "altitude" readout on their tool bar or know how I
might go about restoring it to mine?  I've looked through all the tool bar
drop down menus and can't find anything.  I have just about every tool bar
option checked so there's a lot displayed on my tool bar lines.
