[BaseCamp] optimize

I'm pretty much in agreement with Steve.  That said if you want to try it duplicate the route first so you can easily go back to the original.  I've found that I can normally "optimize" a route by examination on my own.  I've seen an "optimized" route add 30-40 minutes to what I had started with.
