[BaseCamp] GPS Not Following Computer Route

On my Garmin Montana, I find that I need to send the route as "Direct
routing" and not use motorcycle or automobile profiles so that I can edit
the route on the GPS. Then the GPS recomputes the route according to its
internal algorithms including shaping points if needed.

HOWEVER, more often than not when riding in the Big Money Rally, I find that
I simplify my routing by only routing to one waypoint bonus at a time.
Generally I'm not concerned which way it routes me as long as it uses the
avoidances I have set.

Also, I've found that the Automobile profile fits my riding style best. If
I want a twisty ride, I select the Motorcycle profile.
