[BaseCamp] Question of screen brightness

I have a question regarding screen brightness. I have a Zumo 665, BMW Navigator IV and V. Of the three, the old 665 has the brightest display, but it’s certainly not great on a normal sunny day. The two BMW branded units are miserable to read. The screen brightness is set at 100% on all three.

I’m considering a Garmin 595 LM. Can anyone provide feed back regarding the display brightness compared to the units I mentioned above?
