[BaseCamp] test

I love it too, but when I first open BaseCamp I get a warning that BaseCamp will not be compatible with MacOS Catalina.  Going to Garmin updater it says an update is not available.  Today I just got a notice that Apple wants to install Catalina.  Will I lose BaseCamp functionality if I update or will the built-in Garmin updater install an updated version of BaseCamp after it sees I have updated to Catalina?  If anyone knows.
