balancing carbs

As Larry explained, the stock tank can be made to
work. But a mistake or a drop are incredibly painful
and expensive.

An alternative are temporary fuel bottles made for
this purpose. They have a hose barb molded right in.
I've got one, though I don't know from where. I just
suspend it from a handlebar with a short bungee. 

While it's an extra expense, if you've got a while
till Social Security kicks in, you're gonna be doing
this stuff for a few years yet so it might well be
worth a few dollars. If interested, I'd suggest
checking any small engine repair shops or lawn mower
supply places, besides of course, the internet.
