I has a chance to examine the speedometer a bit closer yesterday. It appears that the cable came out of the back of the speedometer itself. It must have vibrated loose. This is good news because I don't think anything is actually broken. I'll remove the fairings this evening and see if I can't get it working again. Thanks for the help.

My speedometer decided to stop working today. Is this a common problem with an easy fix or do I need to call up the Kawasaki dealer. I have yet to tear into it to find out what is really wrong. I figured I'd try emailing you all first.
Thanks,
-Jeff
