I would definitely remove the valve cover and take an oil can and douse the 
cams and rockers. Cranking the engine without it firing (it would be even 
better to do this with the spark plugs out) will allow oil flow to the main 
and rod bearings without any load on them, a good thing to do. A squirt down 
the spark plug holes would be a good idea too. Put the engine in running 
order as soon after this as possible to minimize drainback before hot 
starting it.
