  Performance-wise it flows a helluva lot more air, so much so that you have 
to move up 28 sizes on the mains (via the Stage III Factory Pro jet kit).

 The collateral benefit is that it makes carb removal and
reinstallation a breeze....AND it looks pretty cool, too.

I've just done this mod (with the guidance of the venerable Mr. Northrup) 
and was surprised at the
difference in performance.
