Never mind... I got the vac line back on with a pair of pliers, a
screwdriver, and a lot of swearing.

One long-procrastinated maintenance item crossed off my list!  Valves
done, oil/filter done, carb sync done...

Now for the forks, steering head bearings, and new shock....
