Remove the cams to swap the shims??? What a dumb thing that is!

ZX-12, huh? Cool bike to be sure, particularly the late model (I like
the black one with gold wheels) but you probably know the valvetrain
is like the ZX-9R, that is, you have to remove the cams to swap shims.
The ZZR-1200 has the same valvetrain as the GPz. But it only has about
145 RWHP compared to the ZX-12's 160ish, so it probably isn't fast
enough for you. ;) :D
Actually I'm sure the ZX handles better than the ZZR stock... I think
the 04 or something ZX got radial brakes to go with the USD forks and
stuff.
