Fw: Ohio or indy?

To those planning on going on this ride, I just talked to Jennifer at the Williamstown Country Inn at the link below. They have three rooms available currently for that weekend(June 20,21 & 22). Two of the rooms have one queen size bed and one twin size bed. The third room has one queen size bed and two twin size beds. They actually have 5 rooms, but two of them are being rented on a long-term basis by some construction workers. It's looking like we will probably have the potential of maybe seven or eight people if all come. Those are:
Dave Beard
Dave Daniels
Pat Turley (a friend of Dave Beard's)
Matt from Indiana (maybe)
Jerry Clair
Paul Heim
Steve Northrop
Don French (no answer one way or the other yet)
So that would mean we'd have to have at least three to a room. (2 would have to sleep together in the queen size...yeah, makes me a bit queezy too). If we rented all three, it would be two in one room and three in the other two, that is if we have eight people. Anyway, you can work the math. F.Y.I. Dave Beard and I both snore. I'll be bringing my ear plugs. Hopefully, the maid won't throw them away this time. Grrrr.
The rates work like this: $60 a night if it's two adults and a kid or two(the kids are free). It's $5 extra for each additional adult. So if we put 4 guys in that one room, it would be $70. $65 for three adults. You get my drift. Not bad actually.
The only thing she warned me of is that the road leading up to the place, that deadends into it, is gravel for the last 1/4 to 1/2 mile. She said other motorcyclists have had no problems with it. It's a slight upward slope. She said some motorcyclists have decided against it because they didn't want gravel to potentially scratch their bikes. Nobody ever dropped it. My feeling is if you go slow enough, it shouldn't be a problem.
The rooms actually are a little bigger than normal hotel rooms. They also have a couch to sit on, a table to eat on, a small fridge and a large bathroom.
The kicker is that, if we reserve the place, they require the first night upfront on credit card. If we cancel, we don't get the money back, but we get a credit that's good for a year. She said if we wanted to, she would tentatively pencil us in, then if somebody wanted to (Paul), they could come and check the place out, and see if it was what we wanted. Then pay the upfront fee.
So, I put the question to you all. Do we want to persue this and have more than two to a room? Or do we want to just find a regular motel/hotel in Marrietta? Obviously, if more want to join us, we'll have to forego this idea and shoot for something else. I'm not married to the idea, just so you know.
Give me your thoughts....
Dave Daniels

I still think this would be very cool if it could work out.

If you only needed five rooms, could book this whole place. Cheap,
motorcycle friendly.
