Useful garmin gps tip

Some of you may be using garmin products (zumo or nuvi).

I recently got the nuvi 750, and have been playing with the capability to create my own route.

With both devices, one can create shaping points to help guide the route around a certain road or path.  The problem is, which is also more prevalent on the nuvi, is that these shaping points show up as flags on the gps device.

Please review the thread below on how to 'fix' this annoyance.
