I installed progressive springs on mine last year and I found it to be a
huge improvement. It doesn't dive nearly as much during braking, and yet
it doesn't feel harder on rough surface. Unfortunately I can not find
the link to the manufacturer, but they are German made anyway and I
don't know if they are available in the US. I'm sure though that you'll
have plenty of brands to choose from 'over there'. I'd recomment
progressive springs to solve the problem.
