Hi Steve,
Thanks for the info.
I have had a look for a 4-2 Barracuda as advised but can only find 4-1 at
the moment.
I look forward to the results of your trawling investigation. ;]

Hi Rob, Welcome to the list.
I too had a Motad system that the baffle became detached but I replaced it
with a remus 4into1. The only other 4 into 2 is one from I think
Barracuda.
I have a link somewhere and from what I remember its not cheap.
I'm currently trawling through 2 weeks worth of emails so I'll get back
to
you later.
Cheers
Steve

Hi Paul x 2 ;]
Thanks for the welcome.
I have been looking into the systems you have advised and others I have
found, Muzzy, Vance & Hines and Micron but all of these appear to be 4-1
systems and accordingly would require new silencer. I would preferably
like to keep my two Venom Silencers in an attempt to keep cost down but am
willing to get a complete system should it prove to turn my big beautiful
blue beast into a roaring monstrosity. XD
I have also read that the ZZR1200 downpipes fit the GPZ1100 but have no
info as to whether this is 4-1 or 4-2.
In either case, most of the systems appear to require additional jet kits,
radiator "shimming" and fan replacements.
Out of interest, does anyone know of any downpipes that wont discolour
over time?
Have a good festive period all.
Cheers,
Rob Justice

6 months into the purchase of my first (real) bike - GPZ1100 E1 1995/6,
thought it time to join the ranks of the experienced to listen and learn.
Recently broke the baffler in my Motad Venom exhaust system (4-1-2) and am
looking for replacement downpipes to get rid of that "bag of spanners"
sound. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome to the list, Rob! I'm not aware of anyone getting just downpipes,
but several of us have full aftermarket systems. Those who've used Micron
systems seem most pleased. I have a full Muzzy system which is louder
than
I'd prefer, but it came with the bike and I'm too cheap to part with it.
The Jardine systems have a tendency to break a baffle in the collector
section but are otherwise good, according to reports.
Enjoy your GPz!
