Tires and mileage

The Avons are definitely great performance tires, but they do seem to have a shorter life span than others. I've enjoyed them but I think I'll look for something else next time.

I like the Avon's I had for my previous set as well as current.  I get
about 7k miles out of them.  I did run them to the cords showing on the rear, so
most sane people would get a couple less miles.  I think they are the 45/46
series.
