I tried using the screwdrive trick too and wasn't able to pinpoint the exact location of the nose. Some of you may remember my posts about all of it. But it definitely amplifies the ticking. I was able to isolate it coming from the right side of the engine though.

P.S. the using a screwdriver or long extension idea in one of the post is
true ,that is a fast way of knowing for sure ,a old mechanic showed me that
trick yrs ago and it works well to find where it`s coming from.
