lowering links or lowering a GPZ

bummer.........
what kind of work is required? since I have a parts zx11 sitting outside with decent wheels, & nearly new rear tire. I had planned to do a look see when GPZ wore down.
I used to love the 2 sets of wheel & tire combo, so I always had a set of fairly fresh tires for when I got an urge to do a trip even if spur of the moment. I would run 1 set till worn & have a good set, & swap back & forth as needed to wear both out. but always have 1 set new or nearly new & I used to ride up to 40,000 miles a year. normally 20,000 to 25,000 miles, & only under 15,000 when had too many bike problems.
from reading I saw where people were using the ZX9 wheels on the ZX11 for reduced weight? how about them for the GPZ?
but a good interchange reference woiuld be great, what fits or can be made to fit or worked with.
Later,
Randy

The ZX-11 rim is wider and not interchangeable without some hard work.
