Patrick,
I agree with Paul.
I have the LSL conversion also. I even bolted on some bar risers
from GenMar to raise the bars 1 in up 1 1/2 back more than the LSL kit
provided. You really sit straight now. I had to run all the cables
behind the front forks to make everything reach.
My bike is set up like a carbon copy of yours with what you
described including the RoadSmarts I just installed.
I am 6'4 and most bikes I am really cramped on but with this setup
I love it. I have a Kawa criuiser but the GPZ is alot more comfy. Only
got it to ride my wife on cause she likes that Harley thing.

If you happen to have a picture of the mounts on the bike for your oem bags could you also send me that as I am trying to find out what they look like and have a set made for my bags as i can't get them anywhere.

>>Hello all, I have decided to sell the GPZ. My damn back is begging me for a more upright riding position. I love this bike although I think it's time to part with it in order to purchase a cruiser of some sort.. I thought I would mention it to the group before I list it. Please feel free to ask any questions or if you want pics, e-mail me and I will send some. It's black, 17k miles, Im the second owner. I have the original hard bags with GPZ logo, tank bra, tank bag, rear seat bag etc... I also have a gunfighter corbin seat that is like new and the original stock seat.. I had new dunlop roadsmarts installed 2 weeks ago. Fresh oil/ filter and plugs. Thanks
