Any one planning on riding the Peterson/Elephant Lake Road this fall had 
best use another route.
I told my sister about the road and that it would be a good run in her new 
Nissan 370Z when shr was coming over for the Thanksgiving weekend.  The 
Elephant Lake end was good but Hastings County is resurfacing the Peterson 
Road and the 16 km (10 miles) on the east end is gravel.
I guess my riding season is over.  2 weeks ago I twisted my right knee and 
it swelled up like a volley ball.  In the ER in Renfrew they sucked 90 ml (3 
oz) of fluid from the knee and I've been on IV antibiotics and 
antiinflamatories since.
We're finally getting our indian summer and I can't get out to enjoy it.
