You haven't lost any money in the motorcycle refurbishment trade lately Charles.  I see someone has a pair of 1978 KZ750s and a 1982 LTD 750 for sale in the local computer buy/sell/trade.  Last week they were $2000.00 as is where is.  This week they're down to $1250.00.  I think I'll wait until he's willing pay me to take them and to deliver them.
I did check out a 1967 BSA 650 Thunderbolt. but after doing over the Triumph I realized the BSA would need about $3000.00 plus the purchase price of $1500.00 for a return of maybe $4000.00.  I'd only lose $500.00 for about 150 hours worth of labour.
