Forgot to mention (also)....

In '97 the list price was $11,500 CDN.

I met a '96 owner a year later who claimed to have bought the last new
'96 GPZ1100E in Canada and he paid full list.... I mean to say they were
becoming rare!

Forgot to mention, I paid $4,200 in 1997.  It had been lightly dropped
on the right side and repaired.  I replaced the right side plastic and
exhaust when I managed to miss a corner coming back from the Utah
rally in 1999.  Still feel like I got a bargain.
