motorcycle trailers

Now that i don't have a big bore sport bike anymore, I'm looking at one of these for my KLR:

You could probably make it work if you removed the engine and carry it beside you in the front passenger seat to get the bike down to 375 lbs. before transporting it :>)

I thought about the instability but never gave thought to tire wear and transmission punishment.
That does it.
I'm now looking at real trailers.

Anybody owns one ot the Harbor Freight $400-ish trailers?

Unless you are hauling a Hardley or Leadwing with a square rear tire, you'll burn off and square off the back tire. Spend a little more and get a flatbed trailer with a ramp, easier to haul and load and you'll have a nice trailer to haul other stuff with.
