In-ear Headphones

A camping trip with friends has got me thinking: any listers using in-ear headphones they can recommend?  I have a pair of Etymotics (great sound & can even take calls), but I don't think they're up to withstanding the rigors of riding.

My ideal pair would work like earplugs when off and have noise-canceling (I don't think this yet exists).  It would take calls & work the juke (shuffle, pause, & volume), and have cables that won't tangle.

Any recommendations?
