Cam Chain Tensioners

Agreed.  APE adjuster is the go to cam tensioner. Cheap and increased reliability.
I'm surprised you don't already have one installed Charles.

Hey Charles,
I've had a manual tensioner on mine for almost 40k now. Very easy to adjust using your fingers and I adjust it when I adjust the valves. No worries putting one in.
