I got 7,000 miles out the Michelin Pilot Road 2's I took to Alaska, all of
them heavily loaded with luggage and camping gear.  I was very impressed
with the tire and I'm going back with the same tire though I've heard
Michelin no longer makes the Pilot Road 2 in our rear tire size.  I "stole"
one on ebay, so I just need a front which is still available.  I've heard
the Pilot Road 3's wear much faster than the 2's, but the new Pilot Road
4's are more like the 2's.  YMMV.
