The socialists in charge of our province have downloaded all of the medical costs onto the ins. Companies and made certain benefits mandatory at extra cost. Highest insurance cost of any jurisdiction in N. America. Goes with the high hydro rates.

Weird.
Their price on the KLR was identical to TD but the GPz pricing was less than 1/2

I called Allstate.  They want $1024.00.  If I want to insure other things, car, truck, house, cottage, boats, atv etc they can get it down to $540.00.  After checking their combined insurance with what I have now I save $268.00 on the bike and lose $347.00 on the total.  I might as well keep paying TD through the nose.
Any one know who will insure older bikes?  I've got a 1970 Triumph 650 and a 1984 Honda XL250R.  Because they're both over 25 years old I can't find an insurer.  It doesn't really matter at the moment as the bikes are all in a garage that's surrounded by at least 2 feet (2/3 meter of snow).
