Mine has the shifter leak too. I solved it by not riding it since spring..
She gonna need a carb clean before she''s back on the road but I'm thinking of selling her next year..

Happy New Merry Christmas Year guys!

Been offline for a while, got a bit burnt on the internet and started to
pull back. Still have the Almighty GPZ, but shes not firing my imagination
the same as she once did... But seeing as im a cheap bastard, i expect ill
whine about it and keep doing the shift shaft oil leak maintenance 3 times
a summer and toss on a new chain in the spring. Been my commuter pig for
almost 10 years now, I suppose shes good for a couple more...
