I still have my 95' - bought brand new at Sindt Motor Sales in Dubuque, IA with zero miles on the odometer.

The salesman was trying to sell me a 1994 Yamaha GTS1000 (James Parker's pioneering parallel-arm RADD front end - https://www.motorcyclistonline.com/1993-1994-yamaha-gts1000) instead of the GPz.

At the time I was very leery of a motorcycle with 1) that radical front suspension, 2) fuel injection, 3) ABS and 4) a freakin' catalytic converter - all things I was sure would break after a while and cost a LOT to repair.

So I opted for the GPz, and have been happy ever since.
