Hi Alex,

Sorry for the late reply on this one. Thanks A LOT for the link. And 
yes, it's good to know that there are still spare parts around, 
especially now that they are getting harder to find. Just three weeks 
ago I ruined my speedo cable. It had come off at the upper end while 
driving, and when turning the bike around in my driveway I accidentally 
rolled over it, ripping it off at the lower end and bending it as well. 
I called the local dealer (where I purchased the GPZ 23 years ago) for a 
new cable, but he called back an hour latter, telling me that it was 
impossible to find. He had also checked the OEM number with other Kawa's 
in case it is used on other bikes also, but apparently it is not. I then 
checked www.motorcyclespareparts.eu where I have bought spare parts 
before, but found an increasing number of parts which were listed 'no 
more available from manufactorer', including the speedo cable. I then 
found a used speedo cable on eBay.de which I got a few days ago. It's in 
good shape and works perfectly, but with your link I could have bought a 
new cable for the same prize. I'll definitely be looking at
