Message-ID:     Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" My Geeper had a persistant leak from the shifter shaft seal that dribbled down the kickstand. A burr on the shaft (likely caused by a hamfisted first seal change attempt) left it leaky for the rest of my time on it. Couldn't replace or repair that burr without splitting the cases so I lived with it, buying the seals 5 at a time and changing twice a year. You pull the cover then carefully drill a couple of holes in the old seal, screw some sheet metal screws in the holes then yank it out by the screws. Just don't go deep as there is a bearing just behind the seal. BTW, I actually bought a cruiser after all these years. Bought a 2003 Vulcan Classic I have been fixing, need something slow to offset the Ducati and the GPZ, LOL! Charles S.
