ZX1100/ZZR Chain guard 55020-1528

Has any tried to see if the ZX1100 Ninja Chain Guard (p/n 55020-1528) might
work on the GPz1100? It's similar to the GPz model but there are no good
photographic comparisons and the pictures on Partzilla and other places
don't give me enough information.

 

I really don't want to scrap my '96 GPz just because of this part being NLA,
but I don't think it can be run safely w/o a guard on the SA.

 

Please help if you can.any and all suggestions are welcome!!
