In case you don't know, TLS was a participatory performance art event that sucked quite a few people into believing they had actually joined an exclusive secret society. Kind of like when you try to pull someone's leg and it comes off in your hands. Full 90 minute documentary on YouTube. But that's not what's important. The important part is, during the documentary, when the narrator says the members were told to drive to this address in Mendocino for a meeting, they show a Victorian farmhouse which looks suuuper familiar, a guest signin book and interior footage which also look suuuper familiar, and an informative corkboard that says Jughandle on it which sent it home. I don't know if the group actually met there or the filmmakers just used it for some filler footage, but they did meet at these cabins close by which were built for the creator of TLS: https://masseyburke.carbonmade.com/projects/5272425 The whole story is about as Bay Area as it can get, for me. jim From lacicero at gmail.com Thu Apr 13 17:27:41 2023 From: lacicero at gmail.com (L.A. She has asked for a third of the cost as usual. We used to carry this a different way by just having a check that was never cashed paper clipped to their reservation book. Help me defray the cost and secure your spot for 2024 by sending $50. per person toward this deposit. Folks who are camping or staying in the new construction please don't send me money. Reserve your spot independently for those spaces. Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay all work. This is not required of you. It would just be nice for me not to have to write a check for this and carry it for most of a year. Hope you are all having a great summer. We are almost out of the fog of July in SF.
