Holy Venison on the hoof! Glad you can still ride. Slow is better, take your time. Heal!

I'm grounded for the summer. Hit a deer in Southern Colorado so will spend a few days in a hospital then work my way home. Broken ribs and bruised lungs will slow you down considerably.

Wasn't there a plan some time ago to hold an even in NE Pennsylvania?

Yikes! You gotta watch out for those Goldies! I’m going to start exploring the back and dirt roads around here for a route. John is wanting to get out and ride now that he’s feeling a little bit better (stupid bp meds gave him A-fib, so he is limited on energy now). I can get something together for September. I’ll start a new shirt design also.

Last time Transalp was out of the garage was last October. After a recharge (and re-fill of the dry cells) of the battery, pushed the “TART” button (the ‘S’) has long since worn away…. The TA fired up and I was off. First the good news, the TA was a Honda! No skips, no sputters, no issues. Except a bit of burnt leaf smell. Transalp lived up to its reputation as needing as much maintenance as a hammer. The Bad news, my knee is not ready for prime time. The surgery was healing well until our 60 pound Golden body slammed it just over a week ago. It is getting better, but no quite there yet.
