Yeah… that was my interpretation also. Sounds like a contradiction, and, the “ride from hell.”I can’t imagine riding a motorcycle with broken ribs! Better set the suspension to super-soft.

Last time Transalp was out of the garage was last October.  After a recharge (and re-fill of the dry cells) of the battery, pushed the “TART” button (the ‘S’)
 has long since worn away…. The TA fired up and I was off.  First the good news, the TA was a Honda! No skips, no sputters, no issues. Except a bit of burnt leaf smell. Transalp lived up to its reputation as needing as much maintenance as a hammer.  The Bad
 news, my knee is not ready for prime time.  The surgery was healing well until our 60 pound Golden body slammed it just over a week ago.  It is getting better, but no quite there yet.
