Anyone who might be interested in a new 2016 Africa Twin, we have two available. They are Red manual transmission models.
Thanks,

The AT at the dealer was chained to
a platform, so I didn't have a chance to ride it or even
move it around, just sit on it. I just figured that a 1K
liter motor would require a heavy chassis and would keep it
from nimbleness off-road. All the pubs like it. Maybe
I'm just trying to talk myself out of trying to come
with the $13K. Let's see, If I sold the 650 XChallenge
(now on Craigslist)
and the CTX700, and maybe a couple of shotguns. Hmmm.

Hey Milt,I sat on one
here at Nault’s Honda Powersports (the head of service
department called to tell me when it was in) and I have to
say I thought it was slim and very cool. It felt a lot like
a TA to me - that it would be much more nimble that it’s
weight would suggest. I would love to have one.

Had a chance to sit on a new Africa
Twin yesterday at Powersports East in Bear, DE. The thing
is big and feels heavy. It has street tires on it. Many
years ago, JC Whitney's catalog featured a fake CB
antenna you could put on your car to give "the look of
CB" (their term). As great as the AT may be, it seems
intended to give "the look of ADV".
I'm gonna sell my G650
X-Challenge and get something lighter and shorter. Even
with the 1.5" lowered HyperPro shock, it is tall.
