The Spring rally will take place June 22-23.  Rally HQ will be my house at 17 Hooker Ave, Northampton, MA 01060.  

People are welcome to arrive Friday PM.  We have a guest bedroom, an attic full sized bed a campable pagoda type structure and a truck tent.  These is a wide range of lodging around Northampton. 

Day 1 will be a back roads ride.  95% paved but all very back roads. We can stay out as long as you like. 

Day 2 will be a mildly challenging off road ride and this will end around 1 or 2 PM. People can leave before or after lunch.  

Priscilla has a very busy weekend so she wont be around much. 

Friday night the grill will be on.  Cook what you like. I'll try and figure a salad or a couple of sides. 

Saturday night will be backyard pizzas cooked in our 2 wood fired ovens.  Bring any toppings you like.

Sorry to hear about your sciatica Herm, have you tried a chiropractor? I have to go to one regularly for my neck (broke it a bunch of years ago).

So, I looked through the list, and lots of weekends and most of May seems out for various people. What about June 22nd weekend? How does that work for folks? Jason will be back and I didn’t see it listed as a NO anywhere.

unfortunately, some 6 weeks ago I developed  some health issues , and I am not well enough for a ride like that. 

(Sciatica, lower back pain , going all the way down the left leg ) 

My left leg muscles do not have normal strength ; sometime the leg "buckles" , especially when going up or down stairs. 

(Always have to use the handrails)

I have been  doing Physical Therapy  3x a week , with only slight  improvement .... 

Not sure what comes next .  Steroid Injections? Surgery?

I there a good date between May and June, excluding June 1 for a spring rally in Northampton?

I am going to borrow that route for us to ride for day 1. I may tweak it to make it more Transalp. 

I'll have a second, mildly more challenging route for the second day. 

We have 2 guest beds at our house and we live in Northampton. 

Anyone interested can camp in our "truck tent" too and/or possibly the Gazebo. I may post this to the Facebook Trabsalp list and the nearly dead TA web page and see if anyone new shows up. 

We live in Northampton, MA.  It's a fun artsy town and we'll probably have backyard wood fired pizza after the day 1 ride.
