Hard to say as I sold it 21 years ago. I was more comfortable on the BMW on long trips. The TA kills my back on anything more then short rides. The GS had the classic Airhead wallow if pushed hard into corners with trip gear loads. Eventually tired of that & bought a 907ie which I rode cross country several times.

They were built from 1988 -1995 when Airhead production stopped. Someone has updated the front forks big time! Owned an 88 with the full PD kit for ten years.
