[Tanx] Sad but true

While I still regret selling my Moonstone '90, the nightmare of the CDI
replacements haunted me. I sold the best equivalent to the TA, my
Husqvarna Terra (maybe even better than the TA) over similar concerns. The
one at the dealer had a bad CDI and they couldn't get a replacement part
from the factory at all, so they had to have a new bike shipped in from
Italy. For my inconvenience, they offered me any or all accessories
(racks, GIVI cases, tank bags, etc.) for dealer cost. I got them all and
rode the bike for over a year and was impressed with it a LOT. It did
everything very well and some of my very experienced riding pals in the
Pine Barrens agreed. But, when Husqvarna was bought by KTM and they
cancelled the Terra because it made their bikes look bad, I figured it was
only a matter of time until I'd be stranded with an orphan. So I sold it
for about what I paid. I guess I'm risk averse regarding bike reliability
and longevity.
