So I did a routine check of my charging system the other day after a ride on the fast black '96. My voltage at the battery read 15.2V @ 4K rpm, vs a spec of 14.2-14.8V according to the OEM shop manual. That's 5% over the midrange of the spec, so I'm wondering about the condition of the VR.
