About SeePhoto	English (USA)
The purpose of this group is to permit photographs taken with any kind of equipment and of any subject type to be displayed, critiqued, discussed for the benefit of both the photographer and the viewers. What makes it stand apart from other lists is that its subject is the work of photography, not limited to a single topical theme or class of equipment but welcoming all. Discussions of equipment, techniques, etc are all welcome, as long as they are discussions of the USE of those things, not comparative merit, and are focused on work which has been displayed. Courtesy, construcive discussion and a broadly focused desire to improve your photographic skills are the only requirements for participation. The moderator reserves the right to ban subscribers who incite ad hominem arguments in order to keep the discussion of the list useful and enjoyable. Please do not post attached files of any kind to the list. If you have something like a picture or an executable that you wish to share, store it on an FTP server or a web page and post a URL to the list. SeePhoto is configured to automatically reject posts with attached files. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the SeePhoto Archives. Using SeePhoto
To post a message to all the list members, send email to seephoto@lists.micapeak.com. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to SeePhoto
Subscribe to SeePhoto by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
