[BaseCamp] getting Lat and Lon from GEP to BC

I may not be understanding correctly. Have been riding in the heat. Would
this work?
Make placemarks in gep .
Save placemarks in gep as kml or kmz file.
Import that file directly to Basecamp,
Thus have all coords in the lists.
