[BaseCamp] Zumo 396 won't connect to computer

If you have a SD card in the Garmin, you could take it out, connect it to
your computer using a SD card reader, and then manually add the .gpx files
directly from your computer. Once you reinsert the SD card (assuming you
put them in the correct folder), Garmin should see them. I have manually
added .gpx files to a Montana (never tried with a Zumo), but I don't see
why this wouldn't work. Good luck.
