[BaseCamp] seemingly continuous loop

Thanks for the advice.  Had I been on XP or maybe W7 with your walk through
advice, I could have resolved this quickly -- oh how I hate W8.  But your
thought was  enough to get me searching long and hard to find the BC
installed icon.  It was buried deep but with your idea of what to look for,
I found it.  (Back years ago on the installation of BC on my XP laptop, it
asked me if I wanted a desktop shortcut,and one was created automatically
via the  wizard.  No such asking when I installed on the W8 laptop.)

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Up and running BC.
