[BaseCamp] populating cells in the BC properties box

Jerry

Thanks. Oh, long answers are better than short -- for me. I appreciate
the detail of the thought. Don't assume that I intuitively know how to get
from A to C. I appreciate the time taken to tell me there is a B in
between. ;o)

As you suggested, I exported a fully populated waypoint. Using Notepad, I
could see that all of the info from each cell was in the file. I then
imported my waypoint back into BC. I opened the properties box and all the
information in all the cells was there.

Perhaps you are correct that GPSVisualizer isn't the way to transfer all
the data from XLS to GPX. I'll dig deeper into their tutorial, but will
also check GPSBabel. I played with it a long time ago so I'll reacquaint
myself with it. As for programming my own, HA. The last programming I
did was when we used IBM punch cards back in the early 70s. I had 4-5
languages down pat back then. Oh my, that brings back so memories!! LOL

Thanks, Joe
