[BaseCamp] Proximity and Selection

My understanding of proximity property is that it is used in the GPS to alert you when you come within the circle defined by the proximity radius while driving. 

I’ve not used it for individual waypoints but for POI lists, such as Interstate rest areas or Costco stores. See Garmin POI Loader and visit POI Factory website for crowdsourced POI lists, if this feature interests you. 

Not all Garmin GPS support proximity alerts.
